I just came across this . I only knew Paul a very short time but was Impressed with the energy he had . Nothing could slow him down . And ran circles even around me . Thank you sir for your service and I was honored to have known you albeit brief as it was . As for the family I'm sorry for your lose .

I am grateful that you and mom gave me life
I am grateful for your example of the importance of hard work and perseverance
I am grateful for you valuing education and instilling that value in me
I am grateful to have been witness throughout your life to your sharp wit and that a piece of that will live on through me
I am, most of all, grateful for your undying example of the importance of family.
Every. Single. Day.
Even in your last hour of life you selflessly put your family first.
That torch too I will proudly carry on.
With much love and more gratitude than these words can express…
Thank you, I love you.

As you have taught us so well.

Uncle Paul was an unfailingly kind human being, the last of a great generation of Chucalos--people of patriotism and substance. He will be missed and forever loved by his family. Our condolences to Aunt Mary and to Velda, Linda, and the grandkids. We will be praying for you all as you celebrate the life of this good man.
