Nancy J. (Rahar) Casillas

Nancy J. Casillas, nee Rahar, age 87, of Collinsville, IL, born on May 19, 1930 in East St. Louis, IL died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Four Fountains Helia Healthcare, Belleville, IL.

Nancy worked as a teller for Southern Illinois Bank, East St. Louis, IL and later at Central Bank, Fairview Heights, IL.  She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Collinsville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jim Ellis and Timothy Ellis; her parents, Charles Joseph and Margaret, nee Hockaday, Rahar; her stepfather, Clarence Dillier; and her three brothers. 

Surviving are her three children, Cathy (Tom) Combs of Collinsville, IL, Fred J. (Cindy) Ellis of Belleville, IL, and Rena (Michael) Biggs of Collinsville, IL; her seven grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.

Donations are preferred to Unity Hospice.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Doug Nicely officiating.  Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
