Marie Hinson

 Marie Hinson, age 87, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on June 5, 1931 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Friday, July 21, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

 Marie worked for 35 years for Southwestern Bell and AT&T. A graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School, Marie also attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale before beginning work for the telephone company. Marie was also a caregiver to many relatives over the years.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alice, nee Dodson, Hinson; her grandmother, Bertha Bagby; and her grandfather, John Dodson.

 Marie is survived by her nephew, Michael Wilson of Belleville, IL;  her niece, Dianne Theriault of Alabama; her cousin, Mildred Aleman of Highland, IL; special friend John Cena Caseyville, IL; and numerous relatives.

 Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Belleville, IL.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with Pastor Hal Santos officiating.

Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
