Mae Aileen King, age 85, of Caseyville, IL, born on July 3, 1932 in East. St. Louis, IL, died on April 6, 2018 at her residence.
Aileen was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Caseyville Post 1117. Aileen was a supporter of James Robinson Ministries. Her spiritual needs were met by Pastor Ralph and Sharla Williams. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Elsie (nee Pollock) Baum; sisters Anna Smith (nee Baum), Melvina Smith (nee Baum): her brothers Bernard Baum and Adrain Baum.
Aileen is survived by her children, Carlotta Taylor–White (Barry ) of Caseyville, IL, Gail Spicer (Mike) of Trenton, Il, Gary Baum ( Pam ) of Granite City, IL, Ron Baum ( Michelle) of Spokane Washington, Cathy Baum of Caseyville, IL; stepchildren Alvin King ( Debbie) of St. Peters, Mo, Charlene Salyers ( Rod ) of St. Peters, Mo and Mary Bostic of Cahokia, IL. She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 with Pastor Ralph Williams officiating. Interment at Trenton Cemetery, Trenton, IL.
