Uncle Jake,

I miss your cute dance through the family room and you saying "Who knew...all this and heaven too!" Always smiling and those bright shiny eyes.

Love you! Hope the ever after is everything you believed it would be.

Hugs and prayers to you, knowing the good Lord welcomed and wrapped you in a big hug when you arrived at heaven's gate.

Uncle Jake,
You were such a great person. I remember the Thanksgivings and the Christmas that you were able to spend with my family. I also remember how you loved chocolate! I am so lucky that I was able to get to know you when you lived in Idaho. You provided so much inspiration for my Catholic faith. Thank you for the wonderful memories! May you have a fantastic time in Heaven and eat all the chocolates you can! Love you lots!
From your pal,
Kate

Uncle Jake,
Your smile would brighten anyone's day!! We were so blessed to have you here in Idaho. Kate loves this quote: "See the light in others and treat them as if that's all that you see" This quote reminds me of you because you had so much light within yourself and you were able to see the light in so many others. Such a wonderful quality and I know that light is now shining bright in heaven. We will miss you and we love you!

Uncle Jake. Praying that you are at peace in your heavenly home. Shirley talks of growing up back in East St. Louis and how you would give her a quarter to get some candy or attend a movie. I first met Uncle Jake in the 1954/55 time frame when i was dating Shirley .Got to know him pretty well and recall that he served as best man and our wedding. Also vividly recall your trips to Germany and the great time we had on our trips to both Paris and Rome. Recall the highlight on one of our trips that you and Shirley attended the ''Passion Play" in Oberammuergau. and how you somehow managed to get those hard to obtain tickets. Could go on and on with these memories, but will just close by saying that you will always remain in our thoughts and prayers. RIP UNCLE JAKE

Uncle Jake,

May heaven provide you with an unlimited amount of your favorite chocolate, orange slices and candy galore.

Jim and I set up a candy bar at the cabin this week in your honor. 😁🤗😍😘
