Lamberto Otero Garcia

Lamberto Otero Garcia, age 88, of Fairmont City, IL, born on April 15, 1931 in Durango, Mexico, died on Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence.

He was an Administrator for a Telegraph Company.

Lamberto was preceded in death by his parents, Raymundo and Vincenta Otero, nee Garcia.

He is survived by his wife, Maria T. Otero Garcia, nee Olivas; his children, Jesus L. Otero, Beatriz Otero, Hector Otero, Maria Concepcion Otero, Alfredo Otero, Jaime Otero, Luis Otero and Hilda Otero; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters, Miguel Angel Otero, Raymundo Otero, Alicia Otero, Clementina Otero, Evangelina Otero, Manuel Otero, David Otero, Teresa Otero and Javier Otero.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL with Fr. Harold Fisher officiating.  Interment will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
