Katherine A. "Kitty" (Stolze) Janik

Katherine A. “ Kitty” Janik, age 68, of Collinsville IL, born on February 25, 1950, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Katherine was employed for 15 years as a line worker at Hostess in St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. “Dutch” and Mary, nee Westerfield, Stolze.

Katherine is survived by her son, William “Bill” Fredeking of Edwardsville, IL; her grandsons, Justin Fredeking and Jordan Fredeking; and two sisters, Susan (Henry) Keeley of Belleville, IL, and Lisa Schilling (Steve Cassidy) of Belleville, IL. She was our loving niece, aunt, and cousin.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.
