Joan Ulch Obituary

Joan S. Ulch, nee Reiling, age 82, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on March 26, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Joan worked as a teller at Edgemont Bank. Her most important accomplishment was caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Ulch, Sr., her parents, John and Helen Reiling, nee Buchanan; and her sister, Sandra Kay Owens.

Joan is survived by her children, Pamela (Tony) Krey of Fairview Heights, IL and Donald L. Ulch, II of Fairview Heights, IL; her granddaughters, Nikki Barker (Carol), Andrea (Jason) Huering and Ashley Krey; her great granddaughters, Alyson and Maizy; her brother-in-law, Frank Lill; and her nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, St. Vincent de Paul or to St. Henry’s Catholic Church.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Joan’s wishes were to be cremated.
