Imogene Moore, nee Boucher, age 82, of Caseyville, IL, born on December 20, 1935 in Murphysboro, IL, died on her 65th wedding anniversary, February 25, 2018 at her residence.
Imogene was a retired cook for various grade schools in Illinois, Missouri and South Dakota. She lived for her children. Imogene also lived for the neighborhood children over the many years of being their loving, adopted mother. She loved spending time with her kids and her gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Earl R. Moore and Charles A. “Chuck” Moore; her granddaughter, Lindsey Moore; her parents, Raymond and Ida Mae Boucher; and her sisters, Donna Wallihan and Linda Way.
Imogene is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles L. Moore; her children, Vickey (Bob) Watts of St. Charles, MO, Jimmie (Diane) Moore of Collinsville, IL, and Lisa Moore D’Souza of Caseyville, IL; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Aaron, Kacie, Monica, Dennery, Tara and Tasey; and her great grandchildren, Hugo, Ivy, Jaxson, Michael, Mitchell, Haley, Ellisyn, Madison, Christina, Kenzie, and Harmoney. Imogene is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Andrew Easton officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
