Edna C. (Campbell) Farnen

Edna C. Farnen, nee Campbell, age 86, of O’Fallon, IL born on July 13, 1932 in East St. Louis, IL died on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Farnen was a graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School.  She was a former personnel manager for K-Mart in Fairview Heights, IL for 25 years.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Farnen, Sr.; her parents, Eldon and Ethel, nee Dinan, Campbell; her two brothers, Gene Campbell and George Campbell; and her sister, Roberta Brombolich.

Surviving are her four children, Joseph M. (Lisa) Farnen, Jr. of Caseyville, IL; Janet L. (Bob) Delaney of Fairview Heights, IL, John R. (Ann) Farnen of Caseyville, IL, and Jeanne M. Dalman of O’Fallon, IL; her nine grandchildren, Jeanine (Doug) Engle, Kristen (Adam) Kalous, Meghan (Keith) Evans, Shannon (Andrew) Cordes, Taylor Delaney, Reilly Delaney, Joey Farnen, Jessica Farnen, and Hayden Dalman; her three great-grandchildren, Addison Kalous, Palmer Kalous, and Maddex Evans; and her sister-in-law, Sandy Campbell of Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or as memorial masses.    

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL with Father Jim Nall officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
