My sympathies to the Pierce family. I just always loved Edith to death. She was such a nice, robust and jolly person. Full of good old fashioned advice. I thought her to be a very wise lady. She and my mother were good friends when Jo Ellen and Daniel went to grade school with my brother and I. In later years, I loved stopping by to chat with Edith. She always welcomed me and treated me like one of her own children. God bless the family and rest in peace, Edith.
