Donald R. Goddard, Sr., age 78, of Millstadt, IL, born on March 10, 1940 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Friday, January 11, 2019 at his residence.

Donald was a carpenter and co-owner of Klotz & Goddard Construction Company for 25 years. He was a 50 year member of Carpenters Local #169 in East. St. Louis, IL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Veda E. Goddard; his parents, Joseph and Myrtle Mae Goddard; and his brothers, Bill, Jim and Jack Goddard.

Donald is survived by his children, Margo D. Krick of Cape Girardeau, MO and Donald R. Goddard, Jr. of Bowling Green, MO; his loving companion, Sarah Strong; his 8 grandchildren, Joseph (Jessica) Goddard of Fenton, MO, Emily Smith of Bowling Green, MO, Kenny Goddard of Springfield, MO, David Goddard of Bowling Green, MO, Angela Goddard of Bowling Green, MO, Teresa Goddard of Bowling Green, MO, Mary Beth Goddard of Bowling Green, MO and Willie Krick; 5 great grandchildren, Chloe, Brianna, Stephen, Abby and Chevy; and his sister, Norma Jean Goddard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd. Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
