Dolores Baker

Dolores Helen Baker, nee Grondzki, age 81, of Belleville, IL, born on September 10, 1937 in East St. Louis, IL died on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Dolores attended Granite City Church of God.  She was a sweet and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Dolores was preceded in death by her children, Diane Baker and Linda Baker; her parents, Zygmunt and Stella Grondzki; a great-grandchild, Micah Jane Baker; a brother, Edwin Grondzki; and a sister, Jackie Perez.

She is survived by her children, Donald Lee (Jane) Baker, Jr of Granite City, IL, Tammy (Mark) Ramsey of Belleville, IL and Sandra Wiscombe of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Stacey (Nathan) Williams, Jake (Crystal) Baker, Chelsea Schoenbach and Christopher Schoenbach; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Charlee and Ella; and a sister, Helen Lou Soehnlin.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.   

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Donald Baker, Jr officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
