Deborah J. Wondolowski

Deborah J. Wondolowski, age 61, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on November 17, 1956, St. Louis, MO, died on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Debbie was a medical secretary at doctors’ offices in Belleville, IL and St. Louis, MO, and was last at Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Belleville. She was a member of PNA Lodge #1134, St. Louis, and a member of Let’s Polka U.S.A. and a polka DJ/IJ for Polka Celebration. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eleanor, nee Kurwicki, Kania; her in-laws, Joseph and Dorothy Wondolowski; and a sister in infancy, Connie Sue Kania.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Wondolowski of Fairview Heights, IL; her children, Joseph C. (Alicia) Wondolowski of Maryville, IL, and John M. Wondolowski of Fairview Heights, IL; her sisters, Denise (James) Holthaus of Breese, IL, and Donna Kania of Columbia, IL; a sister-in-law, Denise A. Wondolowski of Fairview Heights, IL; and 3 nieces, Emilia (Gabe) Olivo, Alicia Archambault, and Sarah Holthaus. 

In lieu of donations, Masses are preferred to Blessed Sacrament Church, Belleville, IL or to the Black Madonna Shrine, Eureka, MO. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL. 

A procession will leave Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Matt Elie officiating.  Interment will be in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
