Antoinette Luszowski, nee Hencel, age 96, of Belleville, IL, born on August 2, 1921 in Harrah, OK, died on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Dammert Geriatric Center, Belleville, IL.
Antoinette grew up in East St. Louis IL, attending Sacred Heart Grade School and East St. Louis Senior High School. She was employed by Certainteed Roofing and the St. Clair County States’ Attorney Office. Antoinette was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL (now Holy Trinity Catholic Church), the Jayceettes, was past president of the St. Clair County Women’s Club, the Rum Club, and the Ya Ya Card Club. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, reading, and being a grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben (Zbigniew) Luszowski; and her parents, Frank and Sophia, nee Hopcus, Hencel.
Surviving is her daughter, Barbara (Michael) Tinkler of Fairview Heights, IL; her two granddaughters, Diane (Aaron) Augustine of Wheaton, IL and Karen (David) Jackie of Louisville, KY; and her four great grandchildren, Logan and Lauren Augustine and Max and Abram Jackie. Dear aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend to many.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 10:00-11:15 A.M. at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Apartment Community Chapel.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:15 A.M. at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Apartment Community Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
